{"id":2608,"date":"2024-12-03T15:04:21","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T08:04:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projectkonser.com\/?p=2608"},"modified":"2025-05-30T23:12:34","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T16:12:34","slug":"tokyo-ska-paradise-orchestra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projectkonser.com\/?p=2608","title":{"rendered":"Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><em>Jakarta , 3 Desember 2024 \u2013<\/em><\/strong> Basing their sound on the Jamaican-born ska music, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra have crafted their<br>original style by putting their unique spin on nearly every musical genre, which they call \u201cTokyo ska.\u201d<br>They made their debut in 1989 with their album, &#8220;Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra&#8221; (often called &#8220;The<br>Yellow Album&#8221;) and currently consist of nine members after several lineup changes.<br>Even as they established a place for themselves in the industry as an instrumental band, Tokyo Ska<br>Paradise Orchestra have featured guest vocalists since 2001, with compositions by the members and<br>lyrics by their baritone sax player, Atsushi Yanaka. Their \u201cVocal tracks\u201d single trilogy, featuring Takao<br>Tajima, Yusuke Chiba, and Tamio Okuda respectively, was a runaway success in Japan, and their<br>2002 album \u201cStompin\u02bc On DOWN BEAT ALLEY\u201d was a smash hit upon release, charting at #1 and<br>selling 500,000 copies. The band\u02bcs sensational collaborations with vocalists such as Hiroto Komoto,<br>Ken Yokoyama, Hiroji Miyamoto, and Kazutoshi Sakurai, as well as not to mention a second<br>collaboration trilogy with the bands 10-FEET, MONGOL800, and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION are all<br>hot topics to this day.<br>Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra have performed in 31 countries since their 1989 debut and have made<br>appearances at many of the world&#8217;s most prestigious music festivals, including Glastonbury<br>(England), Eurock\u00e9ennes (France), the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Vive Latino (Mexico),<br>and Lollapalooza Chile.
